I'm in the process of downloading some music to just relax and chill out with. Not really look for any kind of rap stuff or country ..... but good mellow stuff.

Example of music ...

Live - Lightning crashes
Limp Bizkit - Behind blue eyes
Bush - Come Down , Glycerine
3 Doors Down
Foo Fighters

Help me out

Thanks guys .

I also downloaded a bunch from the Goo Goo Dolls.

I totally forgot about 311. Thanks man.

I'm sure there's a lot of guys on here that won't really remember the older stuff from Bush, Live and the early stuff from bands like 3 Doors Down ..... this stuff is well over 10 years old. LOL

I dont know if you would be interested but some good music to listen to is something along the lines of bag pipes or something like the siberian orchestra. They are good to have around the christmas season too since they play stuff like that. just another opinion. steve

The band Default has some good slower songs. Wasting My Time, Taking My Life Away

if your trying to relax and chill, Jack Johnson will help you out if you like acoustic. Also, Jason Mraz is another that just lets your relax and think about nothing.

A lot of Lynyrd Skynyrd

-Simple Man
-Freebird
-I Need You
-The Ballad of Curis Loew
-Cheatin' Woman
-Am I Losin'
-Roll Gypsy Roll
-One More Time
-Was I Right or Wrong
-Keeping the Faith

Those are their most "chill" songs(That I commonly listen to, at least), in my opinion. All are good in their own right though.

Led Zeppelin? I know some people can't get over the "tone" of some of their calm, chilled out songs, but...

-Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
-Thank You
-Tangerine
-Stairway to Heaven(of course)
-Ten Years Gone
-Tea for One
-Hey Hey What Can I Do

A few Neil Young?

-My My, Hey Hey
-Down By The River
-Heart of Gold
-Powder Finger

....That's a classic rock chill list there. haha

these are from trans siberia orchestra, they play christmas songs with a twist of rock in them. I guess it is a bit different. Give them a listen and see what you think. i dont mind it once in a while when doing homework or something. lol. steve

Pretty much any song by the Blacktop Cadence

The quality isn't as good as most of the stuff already posted, but its a great band.

There's also 7 seconds' cover of 99 red balloons.
