is hot cams stage 3 much different from stage 2

I'll bet if you called Hotcams they would send you a cam card for each with all the critical dimensions.

yes it gives you more top end than the stage 2. the stage 3 is more for high revving riding

I thought stage 3 hotcam was recommended for bigger bore / stroked motor applications.. but i could be wrong

it is recommened for big bore/stroked to make up for the lost bottom end. i run hc3 with stock bore but 13.5 comp, i really like it.

you need high compression if you are stock bore so that cam will work well...
