I was looking at getting a set of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180420989907&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT). $21 for two fronts and a rear is a pretty nice deal. I have heard that nylon covers are pretty rough on the springs paint, but I'm not all that worried about that. I'm looking to get a set mostly because it'll be a cheap way to cover the white springs on the KFX 450R shocks I just bought. Plus the added protection isn't going to hurt anything. I'm not into the ones with the flame jobs and all that. Solid colors (red or black) are preferred.

Oh, also, zipper or velcro? I'd imagine the zipper ones would make for a better and easier fit.

I would do Velcro so you can get them tight around the spring, the zipper ones may be baggy and that looks tacky IMO.

What about nylon vs. neoprene? I mean, I'm not exactly worried about the paint wearing off, but I'd rather it not. I'm going to be powder coating the springs sometime down the road.

I got the black Shockpros from magic racing, they are velcro.

I'd get them again

Seems like they're pretty much the same as the ones one eBay for $21.

i would buy velcro neoprene ones but either one of those would be fine as far as i am concerned. i also agree with the flat colors. Steve

Velcro, hands down. Neoprene has always held up better to the elements then nylon for me.

Where's the best place to buy the neoprene/velcro ones? I saw the dirt skin ones, but they don't offer a set for the KFX 450R shocks. Will a set for some TRX450r or any other 450 fit?
