I am wondering if i am in the right ballpark as far as roller weights go. My boy is on a 90cc, has Dr. Pulley hit clutch, pipe, carb,etc.. he weighs 105lbs and i am using 4.75g rollers, i have tried one or two sizes up and down but it doesn't seem to change anything. Am i off on where to start with roller weights? Thanks

I dont think the weights are the problem. The stall springs in the DR pulley hit clutch are not stiff enough letting the clutch engage too soon. If I was you change out to stiffer springs to increase stall. Your torque spring(big spring) could also be the problem. What are you running with it? Need a little more info, what kind of pipe?

engine mods such as porting and timing play a big roll in rpm range needed. a stock top end will only pull so hard in the mid and up top, also variator angles differ and have an effect on roller weight.
