as the title says, I have everything to put a 250r motor in a 400ex frame. I don't really want to break it up piece by piece, but might if i get enough intrest in most of the parts..

87 long rod trx250r engine with a wiseco 67.50 piston, boyson power reeds, ricky stator 200watt stator, tusk heavy duty clutch, nac's polished billet side cover, powdercoated esr case saver. it has been fixed once behind the case savor, but doesn't leak. the motor has about 10 hours on the cylinder and rings. only has been broken in and took to one trip to little sahara for a week.

will also come with
motor mounts(even the spacers in the swingarm),
kehin 38 pwk
kehin 35 pwk air styker
the boot that goes from the carb to the airbox

esr trx5 pipe and esr silencer, w/spacer
radiator w/mounts
cv4 hoses
wire harness cdi ect.
2 13 tooth and 1 14tooth front sprockets
extra gaskets
new mechanical seal and oil seal.
I'll even throw in a whole sroker top end. ,.. it's dune ported for a +4mm stroker crank and comes with a cool head with a cut dome. the dome is 20cc.I don't remember the size of the piston but can check if needed. i do know it's brand new, and the cylinder is freshly bored, to make the stroker complete you would need a standard long rod spacer plate and the stroker crank and you'd have it. the only bad thing about it . is that it is only half polished,, someone started, but never finished...
also im gonna toss in a analog pvl ignition. comes with the rotor, stator??(not sure if its called that) adapter plate, coil/cdi, and plug wire n cap..

I'm sure i'm forgeting some little things, I would like 1500+ shipping. for everything together. I paid 2500 dollars and lots of time and labor,.. but all of that is done for you and all you should have to do is bolt in and go. I can post pictures if theres any intrest..

The biggest problem is I have never shipped an engine,, don't really have a clue when it comes to shipping large items like that.. If someone could help out it would be greatly appreciated...

thanks
mike

Ship the motor in a well packaged cooler that has wheels. You can find those ice chests that are square with wheels. Use drywall screws to keep the lid shut, the using a black magic marker, write "DO NOT DROP".

Hope this helps. I'm interested in some of your parts. Speciically the 35mm AS carb, and cv4 hoses.

Thanks,
Dan

+1 what Dan said on shipping an engine. The best only way to do it... cost about 15-20 bucks but its worth the piece of mind!

If you sell the piece parts, and Dan doesn't take them, I too am interested in the 35A/S, Cv4 hoses, ... pics to crownlineboats@hotmail.com

the cv hoses are red, and have been cut down. not sure how much, the guy before me that had a hybrid like mine and cut them to fit cause the radiator is closer to the engine than the 250 chassis.. thats another reason i would like to sell as a whole....
I'm gonna wait and see if anyone wants it as a whole for a while and if no one does, or I get enough intrest in most of the parts, then i'll part it out...

heres a pic of the engine and such when i first mounted it.. before i cleaned it up and redid the top end.

. unless someone speeks up real soon, i think I'll start peicen this thing out little by little, heres a pic of the carb. does have cable, but its for a stock carb....does work thogh, i took the metal end off and slid it into the adjuster...works fine no problem.. very low hours on this carb.. probly no more than 20hours.. as for the cv4's I can measure them for you to see if they'll work for you if you're still interested...
