i would think you could get better pricing shopping around individually...heck i bet you could get the piston for under $100 if you looked around, the cam chain is only $35 from servicehonda.com...the head and base gaskets for like $30 for both...im not too sure on that cam though, i dont know anything about em'

yea i figured its gettin close to christmas time and ive done pretty much everything to the ex except break into the engine!! and i have been runnin at the dunes alot lately and just need more power!! so i figure start with a 416 and it gives me more power for now and room to go bigger!!
would i be okay on my build if i went with 416 wiesco piston 11.1 comp on pump gas with a +6 key??
I have a spal fan installed already and i want to keep my reliability!!

you would have to run high 90's octane for the 11 to 1 and 6+ key , but i run 93 on just the 11 to 1 with no problems

I would check on the magnum cam also, it may require the use of hard faced rockers. I am not sure on it though. steve

you should be fine with a mix of it. you could run it straight too if you jet it right. Check out some of the threads on it from wheelie or trxracer1.
This is what trx had to give you an idea of what he was running with 85 compared to regular.

ok, found some info on the magnum. It does not need hard faced rockers but does recommend hd valve springs and shortened valve guides. here is a link to the one i found. steve
