What kind of oil do I use in tranny gears?Do you fill until it gets to dipstick or is there a bolt in case to check oil with?

We use Amsoil. If im not mistaken you use 100 ml. Or just fill it all the way up beings there is an over flow on back side of tanny to let access oil out. So your safe if you fill all the way up. Bell Ray Gear Saver also makes good tranny fluid you can buy at any motorcycle shop Bell Ray that is. Hope this helps ya.

We also use AMSOIL super shift. The tranny only holds 100cc of fluid so the best thing I found was a 4 dollar funnel from Wal Mart that has metric increments right on the side and has a long hose and on/off switch for the flow, makes for changing the fluid accurate and neat.......Jeff

For adding back oil I use a 60cc syringe and tygon tubing. The cleanest way I have found.
