Help...i need some new shocks!

hey everyone, iv been running the stock shocks on my 05 honda 450 and i mean..they arent bad? but id like to get some new shocks..i already have +2 a-arms but i dont have the shocks.
looking for something cheep but not too worn out and possibly rebuildable

call Elka...they have some specials on some dune edition stuff for cheap. I think it was demo shocks that they have in stock.

Why not just revalve and respring your stockers??

well i did just get then rebuilt and everything. im not complaining much about them..but they arent..that great

Not sure what length you would need for those arm's, I was asking $1000 obo. Just had them serviced and also has two new pumps. Im only selling them because im switching to XC and need shorter shocks.

respung and revauvled 450r shocks are pretty compeditive with after markets at around 1/2 the price of after markets and you can 99% of the time have them set up for ur +2 a arms, just rember no suspension is perfact but some of the new stuff is damn near it

not to sound like a smart-aleck but did you "dial" them in? you know, adjust the compression and rebound response, or set the spring tension etc..

you mentioned they were rebuilt, are they triple-rate now?

lol well of course i tuned everything up
and they arent triple rate. its the stock honda shock..just got them rebuilt inside, new gas in the and new needle valve thing. same stock springs.
i mean..they arent that bad of shocks now that i got a steering stabilizer, but im jus checking around looking for good deals

well me being only 16...with a minnimum wage job that barley pays for anything..its kinda hard to buy stuff for it. like my dad does help out...ALOT! but yea. but no lie the rebuilding of the stock shocks help out alot. so we'll see
