Slow Jet question

I cleaned the slow jet and tried to run a small wire through it. No Go.

Should the slow jet be hollow up the middle? I don't know how it would work if it wasn't but I can't get anything through it and I can't see any light through it at all.
What's up?

I know the main jet has the throttle needle go through it, but the slow jet doesn't have anything going through it.

It is hard to see through them because the hole is so small but at the right angle you should be able to light through it. No needle through the middle of pilot jets

Thanks. I got it cleared out. I can see light through it!

Dang carbs. I hate carbs. Next go-round I am getting fuel injected!
