do i install updates?

well im not good with computers at all, and just bought me a new toshiba netbook, and got a centennial wireless internet card for it. question is, I keep getting asked from bottom right of screen if I want to update windows, and update is available. I have windows 7 starter if it matters? thanks, neil

and any tips on keeping it up? like certain updated, or anything like that, i know nothing lol

You should do all security and hardware/software updates.. it should update automatically but if it dose not just do them manually when it asks you to update click OK or yes w.e it says always make sure you reboot after the updates are done installing.

Reboot means to turn it off and start it up again. It dose this every time you yurn it off.
