Re done the walsh bike!! What ya think?

walsh looks good, must be still doing some set up heh? Quad looks really good, but looks like it is sitting up a little high suspension wise? Too much pre-load.

Its +3's and 4-1's, you were close.It barely gets through the bars at nationals.

Yes definently still setting it up,in this pic it needs a radiator hose,nerf nets,brake caliper,chain ,sprockets and a few other little things. Does any body reconize the exact model number or name of these nerf bars? I need nets for them and and i dont even know the model of em,i know there AC and thats bout it.

No idea what model nerfs but mine use the same nets so if you figure it out, do tell. because holman stepped through these nets one to many times that are on my bike.......

Im almost positive you've got +4 flatties on that narrow frame.

Hell it may be +9's! Hahaha but it's goes through the bars, that's all that counts. I need some nets bad or I've gotta get new bars and that sucks...

Just call AC and tell them how many nets you need...

Looks like those are 4x4x4's???

Or call any other nerf mfg and tell them what you need.

No need to buy new nerfs over a $30 set of setting.

I had the same set of AC nerfs on my LSR CRF. AC calls them the DC nerf. I think they named them after Dana Creech. If they even make them anymore?? Sick bike!!!

I custom ordered a set in 2002 and that's what they referred to them as.

are those standard or long travel a-arms? they look like standard travel a-arms, that could be why the quad it high up, long travel shocks on a standard travel a-arm.

nope they are walsh flattie long travel arms for the walsh chassis. They are the exact same as the original gullwing walsh arms are as far as shock mounting and leverage ratio. They are just made to have more ground clearance. Heres a few pics of my walsh yzf and crf qauds(both narrow and wide frame) ive built to show the difference.

what kind of nerfs are on that bike? Those would be perfect for my new project! Pro armor used to make propeg nerfs for those frames that were really nice. Unfortunatly I sold the last available pair to a customer stupid me.

i am almost certain those are blingstar nerfs on that bike and yes they are dana creech models i am running the same nerfs on my houser yz450 bike search houser yz450 rebuild on this forum to compare

The pro pegs on All_walshed_up quad are def. the AC model DC pro pegs. The blingstar/pro armor ones are a different bend and the pegs have more corse teeth.

I tried ordering a few sets of those DC pro pegs for some of my other hybrids a while back and had no luck. AC Sucks to try to get through too(or at least get to someone that will call back). Maybe if we had a group of people wanting some they would make them? Heres some pics of them on one of my yfz's thats converted over to use the 250r DC propegs. They are some bad pegs thats for sure!

I have the same nerfs on mine and i HATED pegs in them, i gutted the centers out of my pegs and mounted proarmor 450r replacement teeth inside mine :o
