This is my first post .I am new to this hobby and started it out at bit of a disadvantage .I purchased a well used 93 trailboss 350 liquid with a blown engine .I then bought a used 96 explorer engine and trans planted it in .It was an easy transplant as both engines are pretty well identical except for the electrical portion in the stator area .Does anyone know if the stator assemblies can be switched around between the 2 engines or did they cast the 400 block differently ? I realize the stators and flywheels are different between the 2 but will they interchange between the 2 engines as the crankcshafts etc are all the same in short will a 350l stator bolt into a 4ool engine so i dont have to butcher in the wiring ? hopefully someone has the answer for me and been there done that !!! hope to hear from someone soon thanks speedbuff
