Quick question. The guy who owned my pred before me cranked down the springs all the way on the coil over. I'm a large guy so a soft suspension wouldn't be good for me as it would bottom out. But I find she wants to bucks me off at times. Wondering if I were to soften the suspension up a bit if it would help or make things worse?

I guess the worst you could do it try it to see how it works then see if it helps or not. I think that you may benefit from it but i guess it depends on how far you go. if you have a rebound setting on the back you can try to turn it down a bit to slow it down. it seems to help with the bucking if it is a bit slower instead of bouncing right back really fast. I loosened my 400 stock shocks up a bit and it is a much better ride on the trails. It sucked getting hammered when you go over rocks and roots. lol. did you get my pm by chance too i am still interested in that stuff and will most likely take it if you are still interested in getting rid of it. steve

Yeah the rear has a resevoir and a rebound setting. Ill turn it down a couple clicks and see what it does.

Didn't check the pm buddy. But if you want it its yours.

Asking about my 04 polaris predator 500. Sorry thought I added that to my original post.

Yup fox all around. ill turn down the back. What about the front? With the way its setup half the front spring is completely compressed. Ill have to snap a pic of it tomorrow to give you guys an idea of what it looks ike if you can't picture it.

i would do the back first and see if it helps. if it doesnt put it back where it was and work with the front a bit to try and slow them down a bit to get it rebound slower. let us know how it comes out. steve

Thanks buddy ill give her a go tomorrow. I think if my 2 hours of abuse today didn't finish off that control arm a few rips through the local park won't either. Lol. See what tomorrow brings time wise and how my backs feeling. Damn I'm pissed I don't have the vid of me hitting that tree. Lol. I deleted it by accident. Still mad about that. Lol

For sure. Coulda been worse. I figure I bailed about a foot from the tree. Maybe even less. Happened pretty quick luckily I reacted and didn't try to ride it out. Thinking if I stayed on I was going into that tree head first as the bumper is what made contact with the tree.
