Anyone have recommendation for a CDI box? Hitting the rev limit a lot on the stock one. Please let me know what works well with a 2005 450R? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i would just change the gearing or upshift, all you are going to do is throw a rod.

change those intake valves out for titanium's or get better springs, because ive seen them float on more than one occasion at a sustained high RPM

get a dyna, i didnt feel power difference between the 2 and dyna is less the 1/2 cost. ive always had ignition boxes on my bikes with stock valves/springs or Ti valves and stock springs with CRF cams and ive never floated a valve yet and im always on revlimiter, i was MX btw ive also never thrown a rod or broken main bearings or anything crank related with it either

Gotta remember tho your one instance of good luck, im not saying that everyone will float but ive seen it happen, my suggestion is more of a precautionary upgrade.
