i have read people are getting the game early and if they are caught playing it online they will be banned from there xbox or playstation accounts

Single player is probably short like usual, just turn the difficulty to Veteran and then tell me it takes you 4 hours.

Plus the new spec ops mode is supposed to be nasty I cannot wait for that.

Either way, I will be at a midnight launch tomorrow.

I call BS!!!! They have some kind of agreement between the store and the development company. They can't sell it early or risk getting sued big time. The only way your playing it is if you stole one of the copies that came in already from a shipment.

Well if he did release it early he will most likely be out of business soon then. They have a release date and they ARE NOT supposed to sell it sooner then the release date.

As for what the other poster said about xbox live picking up on that, I've read somewhere they did that with another game that came out not too long ago.

there are so many attachments for the guns like 6 i think, 9 assault rifles, 5 submachine guns, 4 sniper rifles, ETC. in multiplayer umm tons of kill streak rewards and customizable like they said....game play is FAST online, all the levels are sweet

Secondary weapos you can have automatic hanguns, shot gun, regular handguns, and another i forget.

umm not regularly but i think there is a perk for it that i havent unlocked yet, its called bling, im guessing thats what that is

i've taken a 2 month break from COD4 waiting for this

i have class for 2 hours on tuesday and then i'm skipping my wednesday and thursday classes to play for the rest of the week and weekend

haha no problem, just to let you know the kill streak rewards are AMAZING, such as calling in an AC130 that you can shoot from, or a Harrier that hovers around while you shoot from it, umm also Precision Airstrikes(you select where and the line of attack such as which way the planes come it, and the last one ill say is Predator missles(guide a missile from above as is coming in)...theres like 10 more.... any other questions just ask.

my friend had it since last month, he can get it for xbox360 online, he mods his xbox then he downloads it online, then burns it to a cd, and then burns an activation thing on another cd....he told me u can throw knives at people lol, and there are sticky grenades

my freind i play with alot also got it ealier i didnt belive him and he sent me a picture of the game and recipt right beside it. he said he walked into walmart and asked the manager if he has modernwarfar2 and he said i cant sell you it and he replyed yes you can and then he sold it to him lol.

Im pretty sure most Gamestops in the Northeast were allowed to sell it early. What happened was that a ot of smaller shops did so, this caused Gamestop to claim it was unfair so activision allowed them to also sell it early.

im in the northeast and no early release here it sucks but we'll just have to wait like the majority.

my friend went to game stop today and asked about an early release and one of the guys said "What do you think were stupid? the game will be released on tuesday at midnight. no one is getting an early release so just go home and wait like every one else in america"

I played it all night last night on XBL. It's pretty sick but I think they changed TO much. I loved Modern Warfare.

BTW- Yes the campaign is very short. I had a *cough* copy last weekend and did the campaign. It was a good campaign but very short.

I don't know. Played it for about 2 hours this evening and I'm not feeling it. Great graphics and sound but it seems real arcadey to me.

Alright, what the deal when I shoot a guy FOREVER and then he shoots me at the last second and kills me, then I look at the kill cam and it never even shows me getting off a shot? Does that have something to do with my connection or just bad luck?

not sure about that, seems like lag... are you on PS3?

As for it being arcadish, it is, but it is in a good way. ONe thing i really like is they took away the ability to just lob grenades all the way across a map, no more of that. And martyrdom for the most part. I think its very well put together, i love all the maps except for terminal, I can see me playing another 5 hours today...lol

cant help you there. Everyone knows PS3's online isnt the greatest and it probably has to do with the increased traffic with the game coming out.

People need to stop complaining about the campagne. Everyone knows the game is all about online. Sure the single player is fun and they put work into it, but like i said, people want the online so thats what they work on.

gettin used to it. weapons are great except for the fact they all sound basically the same. i liked hearing the different sounds of different weapons. sound a lil tin canish but overall lots of fun

I'm really hating not having party chat. That was a terrible idea on IW's part. Sure, I understand the cheating that was present in S&D but removing party chat doesn't stop that type of cheating at all. They'll talk via Skype VOIP or just simply use cell phones. I normally play with my brother and 2 other guys and we get in our own chat. Now I'm forced to listen to all these middle schooler's derogatory comments about someone's race, religious affiliation or sexual preferance every 5 seconds. I try muting them between games but when some people drop out and new people join you have to go through that all over again.

I think they may change that issue with the party chat. Its pissing me off and whats annoying to some (not me, cause I am the one doing this), people have to listen to our personal lives as we play. When you are playing with friends you just talk about whats going on and sometimes never even mention the game.

I just stopped playing. Time to come back to the real world for a little bit and get some school work done.

hahah dude i do the same thing. i get hate messages from people saying i ruin the game. i went 31-3 one game and i bet 29 of those kills were with a knife! its too easy but way fun!

i dont knife intentionally, but if you are going to do this, use the riot shield with the throwing knife and you will be unstoppable.

but is better that way less spawn kills. and one thing i like if someones camping and they kill you it seems to respawn you close to them to kill em.
