i cant seem to find this seal on service honda its under the impeller and the seal with a spring in it goes over top. i got a new cover and messed it up trying to take it out. any help would be great.

infamous kickstarter break. Did you hit the gas when you went to start it?


its either this:
91201-965-000 (#12) which is the one the furthest back

or this:
19217-MAL-300(#2)
which is the one that i think almost touches the impeller.

Its under the fishe for the Water pump, not the right crankcase.
Where they the seals you were talking about?

i dont know which one it would be. its the one thats pressed into the case and has a spring and seal around it. was hoping some one else that replaced their case would know. i was thinking 12 too but just dont know.

You need this to replace that...

SEAL, MECHANICAL
19217-MAL-300

It is part #2 on most parts fiche.

It comes with the metal part that is pressed in and a new rubber seal and spring. It will have a thin band of loctite or something on the metal piece. So it is a one time shot when tapping it in. I used a socket that was the same size as the outer edge of the metal piece. It went in pretty easy.

That's it. Be careful during installation.
