got the 400 running pretty good

a little while ago i started a thread on witch jets i should use for my fmf powercore 4.i ended up with a 155 main and 42 pilot.my spark plug it a garyish brown color.it has good power thru all ranges of the throttle.no backfires,no poping out of the air box.
but it seems like it gets alot hotter alot faster.maybe its just me i havent rode it for about a month and a half maybe i forgot how hot it gets.lol

so it should be pretty good then.its good to know i dont have to pay the over priced shops around here to do it for me..i still think its getting a little hot tho.

I have the exact same same setup on my 400ex with 155 and 42 pilot and am running fmf powercore 4 with a powerbomb header pipe and it runs fantastic..do a lot of dune riding and lot of high rpms...it does get hot but a friend of mine that works for Honda say it won't hurt it a bit. Lot of the heat comes from the header pipe.

sounds good i like the set up.i just ride mostly trails.some track.

i have a quick question, what is that little white spacer thing that gose around my main jet?do i need it? what dose it do?
