Just got bored and decided to take the airbox off and work on fabbing a center mount exhaust for my 250r. The dyno port pipe i was using needed no fabbing, just he silencer. I just cut the pipe and rotated and made angles and welded. What you guys think?

What are you doing for an intake?I dont really see a point of doing that other than for pure looks. Plus its not even in the center

shorter stinger keeps less heat in the pipe, making the motor run cooler. This was just a little project i did im actually going to run a esr centermount pipe. But this pipe would work fine with the esr airbox eliminator kit.

this is what it should look like when finished. only difference between mine and this one is mine will have a smaller diameter filter.

Okay, here is what ya do to help (in my opinion). Clean up the welds, make sure they are good and deep. The grind them down almost smooth with the pipe. Then either have it sandblasted and thermal coated or chromed or simply use a good heat paint. This way it looks more finished, as opposed to cobbled together :)

Just my opinion on how to get a clean look...

One things for sure, the welds DONT look good haha. My dads been welding for 25 years and he welded the pipe for me, the round part and it doesnt look the best. This metal is really, really hard to weld. Im thinking of cleaning them up on the wire wheel and see if they look any better.
