new rocker arms with new cam?

well i ran into a problem. If i install a new cam without changing the rocker arms will it not break in right or will it hurt the cam. Just to be safe before i put one in it

it depends on what kind of cam you put in. if you put in a hotcam you will be fine since they are not hardened. if you have something like a web cam then you will have to get hardened rockers. Let us know what kind you are going to use and we can tell you. steve

also have you thought about a new cam chain to go with the new cam? just something to think about to pick up an hd chain such as a crf450 chain. steve

i put a H-D weisco cam chain in about a month ago when i rebuilt my motor
