It was, well one of them, the boys split the second one:p

godzilla, ive lost almost 40 pounds, doc says my heart and blood numbers look great. no radiated meat here, no additives in what you see except the cheese, everything else except the kidney beans and bread came off my land...meat, dogs, spices, peppers, onions...even the habanro sauce is made here. Alot more healthy then you think.

40 lbs!!?? :eek2: Thats awesome !!!

The meat and natural ingredients are definately the healthier part of the meal....but the bread and cheese are quite high in the carbs/ sugar/fat /high calorie content. Take that out of the equation and you've got yourself one hell of a healthy meal.

I am sure you being sick lately has contributed to your weight loss a little, but to lose that kind of weight must make you feel like a whole new person. Good job!!

Oh btw....

At the Ironman GNCC, the site onwer treated me to dinner. We drove for what seemed like forever to a 1 stop sign town where there was a small resturant. So small that when we walked in , every eye was on us and we were easy targets for being strangers:p

I ordered a prime rib dinner, and when it came out I was lost with excitement:D It literally was hanging off the plate in every direction and was over an inch thick. It was one of the best pieces of beef ive ever tasted.....and I ate every bite! For just over $20 to boot! That dinner anywhere around here would have been a $50 meal. Good to see there are still places that serve theor own home grown beef left in this country. The owner even asked if we wanted to see the next batch to be slaughtered:D

Naaa, ever since I got sick in 2005 my immune system has reset, atleast that is what the Doc says, so I am easily affected by the flu or colds etc. Having two kids in school doesnt help either:scary: At one point, my system was registering zero white blood cells....scary stuff.

My loss has been from removing 1 thing from my diet...soda. I drink water and virtually no soda. Ive gone from a 40 inch pants size to now a 36.

The sucky part, lost muscle mass is a leading cause as well. I went from lifting over 10,000 pounds daily to not much. The damage done to my joints from years of heavy lifting have me feeling alot older then I am but the weight loss has helped a ton with it.

I will live with what affects I have from the 05 illness forever.....no getting around that part of it, and i'd like to drop another 20 pounds over the winter then i'd be happy.
