weak coil ?

My 2002 400 ex runs fine up until it gets a few good splashes & front of the motor gets wet then it dies then restarts in a while plug is fairly new wires on good all other electrical connections are clean & good air box has nothing in it so it must be electrical do the ex coils get weak or go bad ? one good puddle is all itll take to kill it

i had the same problem, i changed the coil and problem fixed. i suggest you replace it.
