Anyone have a headlight or tool box from an 88-89? I already have the hood, just looking for the light itself.

Thanks guys.

Is that a Mugen jug in the background?

Yes, this is a MUGEN.
I seals and pistons.

I'll sell it.

I read that it was worth a lot of money!

i swear these things are impossible to find.

what about an 86-87 light? It should go right on my 88 no problems right?

Thanks guys.

the 86/87 will not work in a 88 setup as is. the mounting is different

what if i change the hood? could i then run an 86-87 light on my 88?

if you get the 86/87 headlight you also need the mounting brackets/guard to mount it. this setup is also very hard to find in nice shape.

A 300ex head light will bolt right up in a 88 89 hood, but it dosent have the adjusting tab. I just ground the spacers down a little to make it tight and it does just fine. Also a tool box off of a polaris scramble works good, just have to slot one of the holes a little. . Here are a couple of pictures of the headlights, R on the left EX on the right. and the tool box. Just something to think about. A lot cheaper than stock and works great.
