400ex axle on a 250r?

Will a 400ex axle fit into a stock 86 250r carrier? i found a nice on on Ebay but don't wanna bid on it tilll i know it'll fit. thanks

Yes but you will need to run 400ex hubs too.

Yes, it will fit in the carrier, but you will need the wheel hubs because the 400EX splines are different than the 250R.

sproket will fit. I've done this before and it works. but the 250r axle is actualy stronger

Turns out i found a 250r x-33. thank anyways guys
