leager a-arms, wiesco piston and rings, itp wheels, lrd full exhaust, works remote resovior suspension theres 5 hours on the top end, could use new plastics, a seat cover, and a rejetting because it used to run on racing fuel and now its on 93... Besides that, shes a beauty that i am never selling...shes my first 2 stroke, i have a raptor 660 HMF'ed and the huge difference i see right off the bat is torque for the 4 stroke

ok lol i know this is really broad but, anything aftermarket that looks like my quad could need, i have the money for everything just taking it slow and getting all my offers together, give me a list with your price, including shipping, and pictures, i am interested in ANYTHING, just a quick question though, i have a 265 cc engine right now, if i were to do a 310 or 330 how much really would the reliability of my engine go down and also, how much would it be estimated ballpark number including labor at around 90 bucks and hour, thanks guys always

Those are Lone Star A-Arms, I think you should strip that bike down, and check ALL the bearings, and seals, and cracks first. Then worry about aftermarket parts. Your bike has a lot of potential, but looks like it may have been neglected. You will spend a small fortune in time and money just doing that.

Listen to this guy^^^^ he knows what he's talking about. If you take a look at some of his quads, you'd know what I mean.

I agree, prepare for a few hundred in bearings and seals. While you have it stripped down you can have parts sandblasted and powdercoated. It would be a great winter project....

ok guys, that sounds great, i bought this for 18 instead of getting one completely done for 3 or 4 because i wanted to do it myself, give me something to do i guess besides doing nothing, i have the money for like 10 250r's no joke, so can you guys let me know what i can do to make this thing sick over time, im only looking to spend around a few hundred a week and make this thing pretty over time...

first should be a strip down on bearings and seals?

then aftermarket?

would you guys know where i can get my frame powder coated at?

if so how much is a regular color? and candy blue, my favorite?

I say tear it down, then start looking. Look at the thread about SHow off your 250R.. Look at other peoples R's and see what you like. This will give you an idea what you want.

Powdercoat will run about 300-600 depends on what you want.. This is a price around Alaska,, not sure about your area.. google for you area for powdercoating or paint shops.

Hope that helps!

Did you ask the previous owner why he used race gas in it? I'd check the compression before you use 93 in it. ~190 on a cold motor is close to the cut-off point for 93, You will have to mix race and 93 at much above 190 and straight race gas at 220. Of course there is other factors, but its a general factor, how the motor timing was advanced/retarded playes a big part also. I agree with the other guys, strip the bike down and replace/rebuild anything you are likely to keep and make it look pretty at the same time.
