i got my buck

got my buck sunday evening. 7 pointer, shot it at 20 yards broadside, i watched it run out in the bean field 70 yards and flop over backwards(I wish i had it on camera)
EDIT: i shot it with a crossbow

it is only my second buck, first one with a bow, so i wasn't going for the gaint, not saying that would be bad. And thats the fourth one for the freezer this year :D My second. need to get the seasoning for jerky, now we have more meat

Any buck with a bow is a good kill!

I had two different bucks cruise by right at dark, one was probably a spike but the second was a solid shooter, he just never offered me a shot. If i feel good enough, I will be in the stand before first light hoping to catch a bruiser .

Buddy of mine just returned from an area in TN that is world renowned for Bucks. They arent tame but usually wont give a ratts *** what you do around them

i'm not a hunter, but i live in arkansas and i see 50+ deer in my yard a day. every night there about about 20+ that sleep behind my house at night. i get out with the spot light and you just see thousands of glowing balls everywhere
