Ok fellas...stock engine. T-4 pipe. Best air filter? Uni? K&N? I was thinking of doing the K&N power up kit. Any suggestions?

Th K&N will flow better and in turn give you more power. The UNI will probably block more crap from getting in your motor though. I have seen some K&N's let some garbage in the motor. If i were you, i would get the UNI, until you have more motor mods to really make a huge difference.

Get the K&N but make sure you get a filter wrap. and yes the power up kit worked good with the K&N & pipe...air box lead off 160-165 main RUN'S GREAT!! good luck!!

Go with a K&N w/ Outerwear....it will filter out dirt just as good as a foam if not better assuming you install/oil/maintain it properly...

I have both.
I like the K&N with outerwear because it cleans up easier than the foam. Problem I have with the K&N is that dust gets through, even with heavy oiling and grease on the colar.
I have the UNI filter too, which never lets in dust but is more troublesom to clean.
My bike runs just as fast with either filter.
I think the UNI is better in very dust conditions, otherwise the K&N is aid to have better flow properties when dirty. I couldn't tell any.
