here is gonna be the best rear sprocket and not be ripped off. Sidewinder tri-moly might claim to be the best, they are just way over-priced. IronMan rear sprockets will outlast bikes and show little wear. Ask the people at ktmtalk about them, they mostly love them.

You get what you pay for. Sidewinder Chain and Sprockets are by far the BEST there is!!!

I had a set with aluminum rear sprocket last over 5 years on a ATC 350X with no chain adjustment.

When I raced 125 MX for 10 years every weekend from April to Oct I would go through 1 set, using aluminum rear sprocket, a year while others were replacing other brands 3-4 times a year. I would have to adjust my chain maybe twice a year.

My current ride...

...has had the Ti-Moly sprockets and Smart chain on it for over a year and has yet to be adjusted.

ironman have a 1 year warranty

sidewinder has a lifetime guarantee

yes, its a 520 chain, stock 85-87 is a 96 link 13/39 gearing. I would imagine the chain size for 13/36 would be a 94 link. Chains are a liking of many different, as are sprockets. I personally use did x-ring atv chains on everything. I have primary drive sprockets on my atv's, my atc250r has sidewinder tri-moly rear sprocket and front w/ sidewinder chain. On my ktm dirtbike is a stock front and ironman rear sprocket. The reason why I don't like sidewinder that much is the warranty is BS. I had a sidewinder setup on my trx250r, 14/38, alittle over a year and the front/rear sprocket hooked bad and chain had alot of play. I replaced it. When I returned from vacation, I called them up and they had 2 reasons why they wouldn't warranty it, 1: I didn't use their chain lube 2: it was a non-stock gearing. They have so many clauses to deny the warranty, few had any success with them.

I can understand that. Their chain lube is the best i've used. O-ring chains actually seal the lube (from the factory) inside the chain. Sidewinder chain lube lubes the 0-rings and keeps them pliable.

Most other chain lubes are nothing but sticky crap that actually attracts dirt to the chain and then the dirt destroyes the O-rings. Once the O-rings are shot all the factory lube gets flung out. Thats why/when your chain needs constant adjustment.

its real close 13/36 is 2.769, 14/39 is 2.785 and 14/38 is 2.714. The smaller the number the more top end it is. What I use on my atc is 14/36, thats 2.571.

If you want some 39T sprockets, I have some that are in really nice shape I'll sell you cheap for a couple of them.
