So I picked up an '05 on a trade for a pair of 400EXs and got out this weekend for my first ride on the thing. It was very clean and low hours with a few mods to it. Full Yosh exhaust, stage 1 Hot Cam, 13:1 Weisco piston, CRF450 carb, no air box lid, ported head, Big Gun CDI, '07 swing arm, and pro taper bars.
Had a set of Cobra ATV nerfs and grab bars. I don't really car for those so I bought a set of Pro Armor nerfs and put the stock grab bars back on. Replaced the stock tires with RAZRs on the front and standard Holeshots on the back. Pulled the headlights and put a Maier race hood on it.

Did some street riding Thursday evening. Hit the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Saturday. Finished the weekend off Sunday afternoon riding ORV trails near Cadillac, MI. Burned 3 tanks of gas and the thing ran great all weekend. I can actually get the thing to start on the first couple kicks. Plus it handles pretty good in the different types of riding. I'm pretty happy with the trade and can't wait to do some TT and flat track next year with it.
Only the kicker fell off someplace Sunday while riding and I couldn't find it. Glad I didn't stall it out on the trails.
