I have an '04 300ex and for the past few weeks i've been messing around trying to upgrade it the best i can. I don't want to mess it up with something im not sure ho to do but so far ive removed the air box lid, and i have a rev box on the way to my house. Im a little strapped for cash so im looking for suggestions on the cheapest way to make my 300ex go as fast as possible. thanks
did you rejet when you removed the lid? if not, you are running lean and that is not good...

If you have the stock 13 tooth front sprocket change it to a 14 tooth. You will gain some on top end but you loose it one the bottom. A cheap front sprocket might cost $20 on ebay.
