Post per page

I just noticed that option is now unavailable. I was used to seeing 40+ post per page, any way we can get that back?

We went with a 10 post max I believe....for several reasons.

It helps the Mods when editing a thread as well as when we are doing coverage. With so many pics it gets confusing with 25 + posts per page

And the latest trend is for the linking of images from an outside host and it gets crazy when someone posts 3 posts with 30 pics which can still happen but the responses will carry it to a new page faster and hopefully things will load faster.

Ugh, can't wait for the update! I was very disappointed when I came back from being on a hiatus to see that I could only see 10 posts per page.

Any idea as to when the update will come along? Or are you in the dark too?

A previous person with access to the forum software tried to make changes yeras ago, it resulted in things that cant be undone and prevent some functions for us to make changes to. This si why some requests that seem simple arent and there isnt anything we can do to fix the errors that were created.

As far as an update, I know its planned but not sure when. The site is pretty large and I am told this is a factor. I like a certain version of vbb and hopefully it will be whats chosen.

Alright, thanks for the info Pappy. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon enough. Have they thought about going with a different site layout? (Not sure what you'd call it, format, etc.)

funny, id noticed the posts per page limit some time back..

i really figured i was one of a few that were even interested in adjusting to more per page, so i never mentioned it.


i was also wondering if the board was going to upgrade sometime.. it was my understanding there was more security options with the newer versions.
my daughter does this stuff, so i get my "armchair programmer" info from her..

From what weve gathered, most folks dont want any chages in layout ot look, just more or newer options. I have no clue how all this works, and can only rely on what I am told
