odd, this a 250r specific stem and the t-pins are for 250r calipers, why would he put it for a 400ex also?? Yes, the a-arms will fit with small spacers, thats the only thing that will fit. Nevertheless, its a good deal right now. If I had the money, I'd put in bid in for it. I don' think he knows too much about what he is selling. The radiator is a walsh radiator, not fluidine, the 250r grab bar is for a 86/87, it will fit a 88/89 with drilling new holes and cutting it down. That swingarm is for a cr500 link frame it also is for a hybrid or 86/87 aplication, the shock is a atc rear shock, the hose will be too short and upper shock mount is too wide for a trx frame, besides it is a 85/86 dogbone, so you will need a 85 or 86 shock for it to work right.

Something must be wrong with people, 250r's aren't in the racing spot-light and in less than 5 years, people are forgetting what the stuff is. I wonder, how much longer will it be before anybody even knows what a 250r is?? He didn't have pictures of the stock 250r frame, I somehow doubt its a 87 frame.

Later model t-pins used 400EX calipers I do believe. This was during the era when many guys were using 400EX spindles on their aftermarket front ends. This way Laeger's only had to make one style spindle. It was an available option for guys building bikes from scratch and 400EX calipers were cheaper.

A member on here was trying to sell that complete quad on here as well as craigslist for $5000 then dropped to $4500. I believe the seller is also a member on here and buys stuff to part out - so I think he knows what he is doing, but chooses to leave the descriptions sparse or open for interepretation.

The frame is a Laeger hybrid.

The radiator is a fluidyne as you can see on the front. I believe Walsh radiators were actually fluidyne or C&R radiators, both are slightly better than PWR IMO.

I've been looking for a protrax but wish people would state whether they use 400ex calipers or 250R as I don't want to spend a bunch of money on caliper adapters. The only way I know for sure if the spindles are for 250R calipers is to see a close up and if the upper a-arms have the tab for OEM brake clamps - this means they are older and were for original 250R calipers.

If I had the extra cash these days I would buy a 250R protrax as well as a 450R protrax just to see if the spindles would interchange.

I doubt these are envys parts since there being sold out of ct. But as for the radiator envy is right when he says c&r made the walsh rads. If people really wanted they could call c&r and get a nice new "walsh" rad made

holy crap it gets better! i call him and he says he has nothing to do with it and will delete the bidder...well, the 0 bidder now has 2 feedbacks...from him...so the 0 bidder is gone and now the 2 feedback person (same as the 0) has the high bid...he then tells me he called to find out if he is legit when the only person the 2 feedback bidder has delt with on ebay is him! he has tons supposedly 2 transactons with the buyer but doesn't know if he's real??

he must think i'm f'ing 10 years old or something...

I talked to him yesterday. He told me he "wanted" $1,800, but would end the auction for $1,500. He thinks he's slick for sure.
