Im just wondering what octane fuel you guys are running, my motor is basically stock it does have a .20 over piston but thats all and it seems to have some spark knock under a heavy load.

Not really sure i have only had the quad about 2 weeks and the piston was installed before i got it all i know is that its a wiseco piston.

Lowest is 10:1 and highest is 11:1 for that size. Have you tried some 93 yet?

Havn't tried anything but 89 yet and is there a way to find out what compression the piston is , i have the part number.

Part number would be good if you know the brand piston.

I dont run anything but premium 93 in anything that I own that is air cooled. quad, lawnmower, power washer. Doesnt matter the better gas really helps with temperatures and detonation.

Ok the guy i got it from just told me that it was an 11:1 piston so do i need to run high test fuel?
