they both have their positives and negatives but if you have a rider on the warrior that knows how to ride it then it would probably take a slight advantage

I know that a 250r will tear his butt up. Have any of yall ever had this prob with somebody who thinks they can beat anybody they race they just make me so mad. Only reason he says he could beat me is he raced somebody with a 300ex on a straight away and he beat them. Yea cuz he has a 6 speed and 300ex has a 5 speed.

I intend to answer this same question myself! By buddy has an 89 Warrior that has a 1 over bore 11:1 Wiseco, torque cam, full Cobra exhaust, and Uni filter. Other than that it's stock. I'm going to be getting a full pipe for my 95 300ex (probly hmf), it has a Uni filter, other than that it's stock as far as I know. His Warrior is in storage until next May so it'll have to wait until then. That may give me time to get the head ported and polished nicely  I'm also scoping a 300 stroker kit (just to get it to it's namesake 300 lol)

I have all 3 of them. The 300EX, Warrior 350, 250R + a blaster.
And I can tell you the Warrior and 300ex are very close. But weight is the enemy and the warrior has a lot of it. Both are very ols and dated designs. Keep the HONDA. The 250R does not even belong with these other bikes.

stock to stock the warrior will take it in a strait line but not by much. overall tho the honda is the better choice , its lighter more reliable and handes better. plus it love to weelie:devil:

i agree yamaha really didnt start with perf. motors excluding the banshee untill the 660. my friends dad who is a warrior owner said the a warrior is nothing but a tractor motor and a blaster is nothing but an oversized weedwacker

hey dont dog em til you try em:D . i know plenty of guys who race warriors. never once did i feel it was like a tractor, but the motors have a very healthy midrange. ive been racing quads for 3 years and just this past summer got rid of my banshee and 400ex to just race my warrior, idk why ive always felt more comfortable on it, been faster and placed better:macho

That's a pretty old and very, very cool article. I still like the 300EX over the 350 Warrior. It IS true about the Warrior beeing a little more affordable, but not by much. Either way...ENJOY your rides!!!
Whatever is it that you ride. That's part of the fun.

The warrior is a nice bike but apples to apples the 300 is a better bike IMO.

But to the 250r comment, that is just silly.

The Warrior makes about 18hp stock.
250r is about 36hp stock.

The warrior is a underpowered 350cc motor.

big bike though, nice all around machine but I am not bashing them but no the 300ex should win this one.

The advantages of the 300 are weight to HP.

MX built they would both be tight but the 350cc would not be in a race with a 300.

If you took a built 300 to make the same cc then all day long would eat the 350 warrior.

They are cool looking though,I dig the headlight and love the stock shocks over the 300.

The vs should be Warrior vs 400ex.

No comparison.

60 hp:eek2: :eek2: more like 35 and just under 40 for a 450
a friend of mine just had his warrior dynoed and it put out 34 hp with a pipe, piston and mid-range cam:p. now thats sweet.
i also like the look of the warriors more also, all modded out they look B.A. :macho

Ha my warrior eats 300s for breakfast, not stock tho, when it was stock id still pull on the warrior more power out of the gate and in the turns
