so guy's what's a good mx pipe for a 09 yfz 450r ??

i am leaning towards a carbon fiber muffler and a stainless

head pipe. Also what air filters work best and do you need an

adapter?

I did see a handful of yosh pipes on
yfz at the races this weekend. What do
ya think of them, they rip on suzukis.

another popular one is the Motoworks SR-4 Carbon.

HMF makes good ones too.

The motoworks carbon pipe is what I've
narrowed it down to. Do you have to get
a fuel commander also with this setup or
just bolt it on and go. I heard they are
on the rich side in stock form.

Motoworks makes what they call an "FMI" or Fuel management interface. its a dobeck created variant of the PClll. Dobeck makes all te commanders for HMF, Trinity and ALBA too.

motoworks sells it sepratly, but i would recomend getting either a Dynojet PClll or PCV instead, as they are higher end products in my oppinion. my freind is going to get his second Dobeck, and my PClll on my old LT-R never had an issue.

imo you should wait for the vortex to come out for the r. thats what im doing. thats were the power is gonna be found. the power commanders just for lack of a better word "trick" the stock ignition into different fuel mixtures. the vortex replaces all the crap with one unit designed for everything your trying to do with the stocker. do it right the first time imo
