How does it work is it real hard to do..and does anyone have any pics of a 400 with a 250r hood im kinda wantin to do it to mine!! Thanks

Pipeless 416 has a really nice looking one. From what I understand no its not hard as long as you are good at using simple tools.

Pipeless 416's hood isnt a 250r hood.im pretty sure its an old quad tech 400ex hood..i dont think they make them anymore though

i asked for pics of 250r hoods the other day also and didn't get much response but i don't know if that many people have them on their 400ex

umm ok thanks guy..i just dident know if it would be long enough and if it would fit right...but if anyone as ever put one on a 400 i sure would like to have a pic of it! lol

Trimmed a little, test fit, trimmed a little more, checked again, until it was flat as possable.

I put a '06 stock TRX450R hood on my '01 400EX and it turned out pretty good. It makes it look way better and I am planning on putting a 450R headlight in it too.

Do the 450 hoods fitup pretty easily? Im in the market for a new hood and those look pretty slick, they never made a yellow one though did they
