here is a quick list of parts (i am keeping some of my aftermarket stuff for the wife's quad and my next machine). i will gladly take pictures of whatever you want... havent posted any only 'cuz i just started taking it apart.

here is some info on the lower end:

i used the quad mostly for MX; no extended periods of time at once. i went on a trail ride before i parted it out and noticed that after riding for a loong time, it became hard to shift. don't know what the deal is, but all the gears are there, clutch doesn't feel like its slipping, and everything else felt/sounded good when i took the top end apart. so i'm not sure if it needs a clutch or what. i bought a Sparks Racing 8 plate kit to put in, but decided to part out before it even showed up in the mail.... i'll make you a deal on both if you're interested.

also, the sector shaft for the shift lever broke on me, where it necks down for the lever set screw; i had one of my fabrication buddies TIG weld the lever on for me, so thats there to stay.. he did a good job, haha. could easily be cut off if you wanted to tear the bottom end down and replace it tho. --SOLD--




everything on the frame except starter solenoid (frame, wiring, etc) --SOLD--

04-05 450R carb set up for 400ex; hot start is well sealed and blocked, top tube is relocated to the side-exit to clear the tank, has 192 main and either 52 or 54 pilot, unneccesary 450R wires are cut. i also rigged up a means of making the choke operable. includes a carb spacer to get it back closer to the airbox, since the 450R carb is shallower than the 400 unit. includes cable. $75 --- SOLD

straight stock steering stem $45 --- SOLD

K&N filter $25--SOLD

pro circuit T4 pipe; has screen spark arrestor. packing is getting worn, but pipe is still very tame. i ride an area with a sound restriction and have never been checked. fits loose at the head pipe with no gasket, but you might be able to get one from Pro Circuit... but i've run without one for two years with no problems. $110 --- SOLD

UM nerfs. no heel guards, only ran half of the summer. no scratches or dents, only dulling from riding the dunes (they polish right up). $80 -- SOLD

stock rear shock, linkage $50

stock headpipe, $35 shipped

rear hubs, one stud is broke (has nut/bolt, works fine this way) $25 shipped

stock swingarm, needs front bearings SOLD

plastics and seat SOLD

stock fuel tank, oil tank

stock a-arms and tie rods. arms are flat black SOLD

front bumper.. looks like an AC (maybe it is?). is a little tweaked; see pic above $35 -- SOLD

both front spindles/knuckles/brakes/etc. assemblies up front are still intact SOLD

rectifier $15 shipped

4" SPAL fan... has literally less than 5 minutes of run time on it. $25 -- SOLD

new clutch cable with 0 ride time; it's a 250X cable, so it's routed up the frame instead of between the exhaust pipes (will last longer) $15--SOLD

also a brand new in-the-box Sparks Racing 8 plate clutch. i haven't even opened the shipping box yet. $115--SOLD

Dont mean to ruin your for sale thread and I can delete this but do you have any details on how you used your maier fender add ons as scoops? I was thinking of doing the same thing just couldnt figure it to where they would look nice.

have you seen the pics he posted in the first post. The 04-05 450r didn't have a fcr carb in case you didn't know

$50 shipped. the arms are flat black, i'm assuming they were powdercoated at one point because they held up real well. not perfect by any means, but not flaked off. i painted flat black over them. can get pics if you'd like.

I need some weird parts lol... I got a 400 from a guy a while back and its missing some odd ball stuff.

I need all the gas tank fastners... the 2 front bolts and the rubber straps on the sides... I need the "L" shaped bracket that holds the battery in the box.

I dont know if this will be the same or not mine is a 05 and I dont know if this changed... But I need the air box snorkle tube... not the intake tube that goes to the air box but the one that mounts on the lower right side of the air box and pulls air from up high.
