k&n air filter?

when i bought my quad the guy gave me a uni and k&n air filter.ive been running the uni since i got it.the other day i decided to try the k&n and it doesnt seem to fit right.can anyone tell me if this is how its supposed to be or is this air filter for something else?

pretty sure thats right, the chrome cap should sit on a little tab on the bottom of the airbox if i remember corrrectly

That's it.... Push it in as far as it will go and clamp it down. Great filter.

the airbox lid should stay off which allows it to get as much air as possible. Great filter i got one to fits exactly the same.

That's the right filter, but it is not pushed in far enough.

The tabs on the bottom of the air box will put holes in it like that.


In my opinion though.... lousy lousy filter.
Clean the Uni and put it back.
Better filtration and more flow.

The K&N element is garbage, as you can see.
