I was thinking of going to the charity ride this weekend and was wondering if anyone is going?
I have never been there and would love to go. Just hate to be down there by myself.

You definately won't be here alone, we have alot of riders coming out this weekend. All the cabins are booked.

I encourage everyone to come out and make a dontation to help out injured quad rider Keith Appleby who broke his back at the Proving Grounds a few weeks ago.

Tracks will be in great shape all weekend long. Anyone making a $10 donation on Saturday the 31st will get a free lunch at the park.

We will re-open March 1st. 2010.

and i was looking at the website and saw the 2010 racing schedule. looks like a small BPG series. Great idea!

Tracks will be in great shape for the weekend. The weather forecast looks good.

Check out our weather camera that takes a picture of the tracks every 60 seconds. go to the weather cam page on our website:

I have a sale pending on my bike. If it sells I'm hoping to pick up a left over yzf, so if this all happens I'd like to make it down sunday as well.

250...

I did find a pretty new rmz450 though. If I don't get another dirt bike I'm either going to use the money as a down payment on a new truck or a street bike.

yea i don't blame you. i always feel like doing the same thing. and now that i got a pitbike i really feel like doing it cause i could still go to tracks and mess around a little. :ermm: plus being out of school soon and working full time, i really don't want to get hurt too bad.

Hey Nick - good point.

If anyone wants to make a donation to help Keith with his recovery, donation checks should be made out to KEITH APPLEBY and mailed to Breezewood Proving Grounds 4626 Robinsonville Rd, Clearville PA 15535. I will make sure that all the donations are sent directly to Keith.

I'm sure anything that you can donate will be appreciated and will help him know that the MX community is thinking about him.

Ok its Saturday Morning Oct. 31st. at 7:30 am tracks and weather look good for the day. There was a chance of a passing shower, but I'm not seeing it.

I expect great tracks today, and look forward to a big turnout to help support Keith in his recovery.

Which 450?
10-31-2009, 06:43 PM

We had a great day of riding with NO rain and no injuries. The turnout was only fair, but not bad considering they called for rain and it rained all around us. Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support for Keith, and a bigger thanks to everyone who made a dontation!!!!

oh yea now that i look closer it is a table now. i was gonna say it didn't look like you were going fast enough to clear the triple.

ATVMX33
11-03-2009, 01:14 PM
yeah....i rode it as a triple 2 weeks ago but it was really muddy so i couldnt quite clear it..kept coming up a little short

11-03-2009, 01:15 PM
hey dan i got a winter project for you, you should add a little more lip to the takeoff of the uphill triple and move the lander farther. take the table out before it so you land the water jump, fly around the turn click 5th towards the jump and hold her flat. theres plenty of room to move the landing back, make it a 120 footer.

haha just a thought

ATVMX33
11-03-2009, 01:23 PM
i'd hit that!!!:D
hahaha

Friday was lots of fun haha. It was a thick mud in the morning but, as the day went on to about mid afternoon it wasn't that bad. I almost had the 100 ft'r on Friday but, came a few feet short. The mud was holding back a lil. I like what Dan did on the advance track, lots of fun. I am curious to see whats going on with the intermediate , I miss it. By the way whats the next idea for Dan cause im diggin the slide :D

The site has to set a fund up for Dan's projects. Maybe a slingshot next to the cabins that launches you into the pond. haha

Glad everyone is liking the changes. Jesse, there isn't any room to make the uphill tripple longer - there is a power line just past the landing ramp. Before I put the tripple in front of it people were over shooting it. I would make it bigger, but then alot of people wouldn't be able to do it. Thats why I changed the tripple in front of it, too many people not able to do it. Everyone should be able to hit the new table and that will make the uphill easier and more fun.

Its all about building jumps that everyone will like.

I changed the whoops on the intermediate track yesterday, also changed the step up jump, made a better lander for it. Making some more changes today. Should be a great weekend to ride.

Jason Dunkelberger emailed me that he will be here riding his YFZ 450 this weekend. Come on out and ride with him !!!!
