Does anyone know if you have to run the oil coolers on the Lifan140?? The boys race an indoor series in the winter, it's only five laps, less than five minutes of run time. I have these hoses that keep coming apart at the fitting, and dont want to chance it.

From what I was told you really want to run the oil cooler with these big bores. You may be asking for trouble if you don't.

my gpx 140 and 160 have been running with out coolers for a long time. the 160 for almost two years. and the 140 for 1 year. but i run one on my 125. all motors have big bore kits. the 125 is a 146 in my sons pitbike that gets ridden the slowest and longest when it is hot out. but none of the 3 engines usually run more than 20 minutes consecutive.
