I am about to start working on my garage floor. I am going to stain and etch a quad design in it.

Here is a pic of a few etchings I have done so far....

those look great. me and my dad just did concrete stain on our garage floor. we cut a 1' borger around the edge then cut grooves to make it look like 2'x2' tile on a diagonal. definitely not easy to do.

QuadR8cer12- Beautiful work. I used to do some concrete stamp and color stuff but never got into staining. Are you sandblasting some of those designs?

Here's my current garage. We just moved in so excuse the mess.

My shop is directly off the garage- Still working on the setup, I had an electrician run a subpanel out there with plenty of juice, so working on getting it wired up and can run whatever I need. Still building shelves and work benches.

The only concrete stamping I've done was when I've been mad. Thats cool stuff - good for you if you can make a living from that. Not for the average Joe. Hell I'm lucky to have lights in my shop. the kid get in there leaves his **** all around for me to pick up, gotta change radio station back. Move stuff all around before I can get to a quad. Sometimes I forget what I went in there to do. By the time I clean things up its to late to work on the quad. Its cold as hell in the winter time.

Thats funny you say that.. becuase with my dad and I.. it's the exact opposite! He is a PIG in the garage! He leaves everything everywhere! I have been cleaning up his space and mine for the past 2-3 years! I am getting FED UP with it! I want to not do it, but if I don't, then the garage will pile up with sh*t and I HATE nothing more than a messy work space!!

Here's a shot of the one I just built. Our lot isn't too big and we have a big hill in the middle of it so this was the biggest I was able to build really without serious money. We were able to make the most out of it though and the entire roof is a patio. My next house i'm building at least a 30x40

I did a slate faced paver, I didn't stain them yet. I'm still debating if I should or not.

that is nice wish. I like the tuck under for the tool boxes, and speaking of tuck unders i spose it would be an engineering nightmare to buil a storage section in the back side under neath, and thats a steal on the counter top:D
