300ex reverse cable.....??

well i took off my pkb and my hole stock clutch perch and did the reverse mod, except there is a a cable coming from the perch still (the reverse cable) i followed it down to where i did the reverse mod, what do i do with it? cut the cable? wrap it around the frame? if i take it off reverse wont work and the reverse mod (the one where u dont have to push the button in) wont work....help!

GO TO THE HARDWARE STORE AND BUY A LITTLE TURNBUCKLE. HOOK IT ONTO THE LEVER AND MOUNT WERA THE CABLE WAS. YOU'LL HAVE TO ADJUST IT SO YOU CAN GET IT INTO REVERSE WITH JUST BEING IN NEUTRAL WITH THE CLUTCH IN. BUT NOT TO FAR.

dude, what are you talkin about?? if you did the reverse mod then you dont need the cable, just stick it in nuetral and pull up on the lever.

I just hid mine under the front fender! :D

alrihgt i got it off, just loosen thses to bolts so the cable is loose the slip it out really simple thanks anyway
