Another quick jetting question

i know this is more then likely this is a question asked by someone some time ago but i cant find it exactly so here it goes. i just installed a UNI airfilter and want to run and open box and this will be my first jetting expierence.

Motor is completely stock just need a guess so i can buy a few jets above and below.

stock main is 138 i think just get one bigger and you should be good. its only a filter and open lid, chances are you will be better off moving the needle up a notch. if you add a slip on then you will need to do a main. but in my experience, ive seen choke removed and open airbox with a k&n many times running perfect with a needle clip change. a main bump could richen it too much. but hey not every machine is the same so maybe a main is perfect for your application.

Ok thanks! Maybe I will try going up to a 142 and getting rid of the choke too. Thanks for the help

stock is a 148, probably 152 for open air box and aftermarket filter,also 2007 needle is not adjustable,unless you use a shim,I would leave it with what your doing,bump the pilot to 40 or 42 will help with starting especially in colder weather.

You could also open up your stock headpipe a little bit by grinding down the internal welds where the header attaches to the head.
Alot of guys here with stock exhaust's, have done it with good results.

Wait Is the stock main 148 or 138? And I have ground down the header welds. Noticed a nice difference.

148 is stock main 38 is stock pilot

if you remove the choke i would suggest going up to a 42 pilot
