broken bolt in case

I just noticed that on the right side (if seating on it) of my 99' 400ex case hold on the the circle cap thing has one of the bolts broken off inside. sorry dont know what the circle cap thing is called..lol.. but anyways is there anything i can do go get it out as it is not leaking but dont want to let it go if i dont have too

Im guessing your talking about the long bolt for the oil filter? May try a revers drill bit and see if you can catch a bur, if its loose it will back out. Other wise just take the case cover off, its not really that bad.

mine did the same thing.i put a bigger bolt in there that wasnt as long but if i would have known at the time i woulda just took the cover off and could have gotten it out fairly easy

i just got it 3 wks ago so no i havent yet changed the filter
