i was at my local drag race yesterday my 04 was incredibly hard to start i can here valves chirping and i think that there to lose and thats why it wont start easy but we could pull start it

so does anyone know what they shouls be set at the bike has high compression piston and stage 1 cam in any help would be great

.006 intake and .011 exhaust +/- .001

yes it can make it hard to start... mine where too tight and wouldnt start without push starting it and it still ran like poop...i bought a hotcam shim kit off ebay for like 70 bucks and did it myself...

well i think were just gonna take it to honda shop for now they told me like 75 which isnt to bad i guess

Do it yourself, way easy and gives you the pleasure fo wrenching your own bike

tried me and my grandad and my dad tried they looked like 2 dumb blondes (sorry if i offend someone) tying to change a light bulb and i dont think they know what there doin so ill get it done right this time then get someone to teach me in future
