I just ordered a pair directly from ATV Fourplay. I ordered them at 5 pm one day, and got them via UPS at noon the next day. These look like nice pieces.

Its all contigent on your budget.
Typically, most rider put 2 per arm.
But what ever your budget or significant other will allow.

No problem, but I ordered them the day before this thread came up. Plus, I could've saved a couple $. You guys still get your orders out fast. I'm really happy with these holders, by the way.

ATV Four-Play's brand

trx400ex
01-21-2003, 02:12 PM
its more of a foam rubbery type deal, there good on most aarms, but some of the bigger ones you have to put something else in to make it tight..btw these things are awesome everyone needs a pair!

Wait until next week when we're finished with our Reservoir clamps for the EX's. These are going to be HOT!

Rico. I would love to buy a set of these but I can;t afford it. I am very interested in your holders.lol

I wanna see a picture of that. It sounds like a good Idea, I never really thought of putting a hose of some sort around it to protect the finish.

How much are the rezzy clamps going to be? Maybe you can work out a deal with CD like this one. Everyone that makes them sells them for like 70$ apiece.

I am very interested also. Is C&D getting some? I almost bought a pair that I found for $60 for the pair, but if these will be comparable and if C&D is going to get some I may wait for them before I order the Brake Line Holders and just get both at once. Any pics of your prototypes?

You can bet that we will be getting some of them as soon as they are ready to ship.:)

ok, here's my 2 cents on these holders from ATV fourplay...Nice pieces but my a-arms are 7/8" and the rubber piece supplied by them is WAY to thick. It comes in at about 1/8th inch, I needed to slim it down with a razor blade so both sides would close up when the pinch bolt was tightened. I took about half the thickness out, so it's about 1/16 inch. Just take your time, it doesn't have to be real purdy because it will be covered up...

I got three different thickness rubber pieces with mine. Six in all, three to choose from for each side.

Glamis400ex
01-21-2003, 08:32 PM
that's interesting, because, I received only 1 thickness , but 2 different diameters. One for 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch...No biggie, the trimming I did is hidden and they are very snug.

I actually bought my set from ALBA down here in San Diego. They are exactly the same though...weird..

Glamis:

did you angle yours back towards the rear of the quad, to keep the lines from rubbing? I can't tell by the pic.

Glamis400ex
01-21-2003, 08:42 PM
yes, they are about a 30 degree angle towards the rear. The reason for that is, to keep the lines from rubbing on the spindles when maxxed out turning left ot right.

Thanks. I had to do the same thing. I also had to zip tie the lies to the frame up under the plastic, to keep the lines from rubbing on the stabilizer.

Glamis,
You should have received three bushings per clamp. (6 total)

I really don't want to say the sizes enclosed cause there are ALOT of companies out here making these things now. ( my opinion, ours look the best.) I don't want to do their homework for them and reveal the dimensions.

With these bushings, it will accomodiate any arm on the market.

Thanks for your support.
If you guys/girls EVER get one of our products and are not happy with it. Call me and I'll make it right for you.

Thanks ride on!

440, about how long before you will have the rezzie holders ready. Sorry to sound impatient but I am putting my bike back together and want to have it on the trails ASAP.

Thanks,

In regards to the Resy clamps.
No pics on proto types.

I'm kinda waiting for Dirt Wheels to reveal. But, if thats going to take to long, I'll do it here.
Costs are going to be $_ _.00 /pr.
They will look better and be cheaper than some others out there.

440pumpkin,

Well, I suggest you talk with your retailer Alba Action Sports. That's where I bought them. Feel free to send me some replacements so they can be "right".

P.S. I agree, they look very nice, great design, not to gaudy or flashy.

I think $50-$55 is a good price for the Rezzy Holders. Anymore then that is getting to be a bit much. Also I think you should make it so you can only buy 1 because of the Rear Rezzy. Rather then that if they will fit Elka's I would want some....

Warrior, I'll take that under advisement but, I have to be honest. I'll try to get it to that figure, but I'm thinking with materials and labor etc.. around $ 30-35 each.
If they take off like my brake lines did I'll lower them cause of quantity.
When I first started with the brake lines they were $ 49.99/pr.
I make so many, I've beat my vendors like you guys do to us.

Thanks for your input. Please keep me posted on stuff and prices that you guys/ girls want.

Later,
Gotta go ship and catch the big brown truck!
