Power Up 400ex ?'s

what is the name of the bigger battery for a 400ex their was also a stronger cam chain i was told to get i forgot the name of it crf somethin i think also im looking for the best way to power up my 440 i got a big bore kit installed jetted
getting a stage 2 hot camshaft possibly hmf exhaust system

also where could i get about 105 octane around their

my goal is to make my 400ex faster then this punk *** **tches 450r

im also confused on how the power bomb header fits the 400ex with a dual head

is it farely simple to switch to the 450 carb i see they look different sizes

U might as well turbo it and run it on alcohol.j/k Them for fiddy's get it. I'm pretty sure the cam chain u are talkin about come off of a crf450 dirtbike engine

dont you have to cut out the top of the battery box for the gsxr battery? i thaught the rapter 660 battery was the one that was more cranking power and is the same size? or am i backwards? i am also having the same issue with my 440. the stock battery doesn't want to turn over the high compression motor, its fully charged hell its a week or two old now. it didnt want to turn over the day i got it. it just turns it too slow.

as far as the powerbomb header goes, i have one on my 400 and i like it, it mounts exactly like the stock and you can use a slipon silencer for it too. im using a HMF.

they just make the one for the 400 with 2 pipes into one just like stock, most quads and bikes have a single pipe so thats why they show it that way.

You want the Raptor 660 Battery. It'll fire up a tank.

but which one is the same size as the 400ex battery? both have more cranking power both will fit in the box but one of them you have to cut the top of the battery holder box out to fit it cause its taller than the ex battery. i searched and i still cant figure out which is a direct fit.

You want a YT12AB-S, it's a Busa' battery. Same size dimensionally, 1lb heavier and 40+ more CCA's.

if the 660 raptor has the same dimension battery with more juice ill go with that

I gave you the wrong Info. on that Raptor battery, It is 1" bigger according to that Yausa battery website I gave ya. Go to that website. You can look up any battery made. It will give you The CCAs and the dimensions of the battery also.

You shouldn’t be concentrating on how fast your bike is. You should be concentrating on how well you can ride it.

alright thanks i was also wondering what the best pipe for your buck is power wise and sound wise ill get the power bomb header i was thinking about the hmf bill ballance carbon

the best exhaust for the 400ex is probably the sparks full system

i may have a fast fourwheeler soon but i still have stock bars and stock shocks i get sooo sore during the first parts of the race
