has anybody put the 2009 yfz450r stock shocks on a long travel front end?

i have a2006 yamaha 450. i wonder if any one has done it. any input ??

It depends on the LT front end. I'm pretty sure most LT YFZ450 a-arms accept a 18.5" shock, but some older designs require 17.75" shock. I believe the stock YFZ450R shock is 18.5" but the shock angle, compressed length, and mount location plays a important roll in overall ride quality.
