What's everyone brewing up over the winter ?

I just picked up a used jug with brand new HD studs and a fresh 440 bore and will be ordering a 12.5:1 wiseco to replace my worn jug and 11:1 stuff
also doing a 450r carb

Building a 431. JE 11:1 piston, stage 3 cam, stud inserts, new intake valves, lap everything and do a complete tear down to check everything out. Probably make a better headpipe too.

Helping you do your top end and carb at my place. Generally taunting you, just the usual stuff Muddin.

Selling my Z400 and looking for another EX. Maybe getting a bike if the right deal comes along.

i plan on tearing mine down before long to do a number of things:

-install HD studs
-CRF timing chain
-new vesrah HD clutch
-gusset frame
-paint frame/subframe white
-paint swingarm and other accents candy red
-replace all bearings/ bushings
-put a new GTT skid plate on
and a few other small things.

but works kinda slow right now, so it may take a little while to get some money. Not many people need their yards mowed/weedeated, or trees pruned during the fall and winter:ermm:

Putting an engine together to either do a 460 stroker or if I can find the cash maybe do a 500. Chances are I wont be doing a 500, that set up is not cheap.

buying a set of ice tires and im gonna ride mine...... i need a rapter660 battery too, its hard cranking on the stock battery with the 11:1 comp especially when its cold out.

fabricating a rear brake light... would like to find a nice gsxr1000 tail light, and fab it to fit in. i think its the brightest one i ever saw and it coiuld look factory with very little anything. i have a factory honda brake switch off a 250r, and i think i can do this for free. (my grandpa owns a salvage yard)

also i plan on shine shine shinning the hell out of the thing. bling bling.

Little more pc work to be done. Possibly side covers? The engine mounting spacers, hopefully front and rear hubs, rear brake pedal and shifter lever. Just little things. Hope to do some indoor mx riding before that though. Quads were meant for dirt and snowmobiles for snow so I choose to keep mine out of the snow.

Yeah, I'll be hitting the trails. Riding season is just starting for us southwestern folks haha.

I will be powder coating my wheels and nerfs, installing a Sparks key and CDI box, and hopefully getting a set of 450r shocks. Then in about January or February it'll be time to start looking for a 700XX to add to the collection.
