Hello, my first post! I have picked up a stock 2002 ex400 that came with a complete fmf4 exhaust system and been rejetted though I don't know what jets were used. The airbox lid was removed and has a K&N filter. Quad seemed to run good throughout the rpm range. I live in Washington and it rains tons so I bought a new airbox with the lid and installed it. It now has a slight miss at times when I am throttling hard. Not bad and only at times. I also went through a river up to my seat and no water problems whatsover. If I remove my lid I am thinking I can't play in the water which limits 1/2 our fun. I also like bottom end power over top end as I trail ride the most. I also installed new mud lites which launch me like a rocket! Any input is great!
