400ex cylinder

have you guys ever got any of those cylinders on ebay? are they junk or are they actuallly decent? who makes cylinders for the 400 that are already ready for the bigger bore? that would be easier to get one of those plus i always got a backup if anything happens. Thanks in advance.

i got one off ebay for my EX. it was a 440 that came with a new piston and rings and gaskets. i cant remember who made it but it costed like 400$. it ran great and still was, when i finally traded the EX for a 250R

you should get the cylinder bored to your piston so the clearance will be correct
